The role
Join a product squad rebuilding the merchant onboarding flow. The team owns a Next.js frontend and a set of Node.js services, and needs a senior engineer who can take a feature from ticket to production without hand-holding.
What you will do
- Build and ship features across the Next.js frontend and Node.js services
- Review pull requests and help set conventions for the rebuilt flow
- Work with product and design on scoping and estimates
- Take part in the team's on-call rotation, one week in six
What you need
- 6+ years of professional software engineering
- Strong TypeScript, React and Node.js
- Experience with PostgreSQL and REST or GraphQL API design
- Able to be onsite in Jersey City two days a week
Nice to have
- Payments or KYC domain experience
- AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS)
